Since its establishment in 2004, Nanjing Lesun has concentrated on the production and custom development of core twin-screw extruder components. The company produces 4,000m of screw elements, 1,400 screw shafts, and 1,000 extruder barrels annually on a 16,000 m² location with 10,000 m² of building space and more than 50 employees. Leading manufacturers of modified plastics, masterbatch, petrochemical pelletizing, plastic recycling, food, pharmaceuticals, powder coatings, and feed are among our clients.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Stable product quality is the result of a stable production process supported by a comprehensive inspection system. Lesun has consistently invested in inspection capability across the entire process, including raw material, heat treatment, mechanical characteristics, dimensional correctness, surface quality, and finished-part delivery. We quantitatively control key quality indicators using spectral analysis, ultrasonic flaw detection, metallographic analysis, hardness testing, mechanical-property testing, coordinate measurement, and surface roughness inspection, resulting in full-process verification from material to finished part.

Performance of twin-screw core components is determined by material structure, heat-treatment quality, machining accuracy, and assembly consistency, in addition to design. A variation at any step can result in anomalous wear, running vibration, seal failure, or a shorter service life. Lesun thus conducts inspection throughout the manufacturing process rather than just at the end, reducing quality variation through process control while boosting consistency and long-term operating stability.

Our manufacturing plant is equipped with spectrometer, ultrasonic flaw detector, metallographic microscopy system, Rockwell hardness tester, universal materials testing machine, impact tester, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), 2D vision measurement system, runout measuring instrument and roughness tester; covering material composition, internal defects, microstructure, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerance, geometric accuracy, and surface quality, and providing data support for product reliability.

With a comprehensive inspection capability and standardized quality control, each batch includes a full quality record with traceable key inspection data, meeting the consistency, interchangeability, and supply-chain quality requirements of international OEM machine builders and large compounding and pelletizing producers.
